Visiting Southwest USA, AZ, UT, NV etc

Hi guys and girls,

I'm from the UK and I'm planning a road trip to Southwest USA next September with my girlfriend; Arizona (Phoenix, Grand Canyon, etc) , Bryce Canyon UT, Las Vegas NV, maybe some of California too.

I'm looking for tips, advice, experiences, places to stay etc. even what vehicles to rent as US models are different to ours.
