I have a loud rubbing or vibration when I turn to the right...I just changed my diff. and transmission oils...Also, just put some air in my tires....It happens primarily from about 50-70 mph and even when I am in neutral....I jacked up the rear of my car yesterday and put it in 1st and gave it gas but no noise....
I also got the car to 70 mph and turned the car off and turned slightly to the right and the noise was still there...It is getting progressively worse....Also, is it normal for the front tires to have very little clearance from them to the front of the tire well?

The wheel should be close to perfectly centered in the well when the steering is straight ahead. I can snap some pics of my e30 for you to compare. If you have a bent suspension arm it'll rub the wheel in the well and cause all kinds of alignment & tire wear problems.

I'd bet your lower control arm bushings are shot. They're big rubber bushings mounted in 'lollipops' on the rear of the wheel well. Also known as LCA bushings, they're a common point of failure on our cars.

Other than that it could be a bad tire, bent rim, unbalanced wheel or bad bearing.

The tires are fairly new, only about 5k miles on them....Are LCA bushings a pain to replace?

Yup. Gear puller & soap might do it. Check them with a bright light first...if you see cracks, they're shot.

A nice upgrade is solid or offset solid M3 bushings. I'd stick with OEM, but some like the urethane parts. They all fit, e30 & e36 are the same parts.

I agree...After reading up on the wheel bearings that's what I think it is as well....While I have the car jacked up I'll check out the LCA's....Thanks for everyones help.

I changed out the front left bearing...the noise is still there...Any ideas?
