ST Shock Spring Kits (Someone try these)
« on: August 09, 2006, 12:47:37 PM »
I called Suspension Techniques today to order a missing piece from my sway bar kit, and they were very friendly.

I started inquiring about suspension kits for shocks/springs.  They have no coil-over option for the E30 in the US (although they do in the motherland), but did say a place called Tunershop was bringing them in on thier own.  They aren't warrantied through K&W though.

BUT, they do have two Shock/Spring options for the E30, which he says are an OEM type replacement (not coil-over), but said they are very respected.  He says they are built on the same K&W line in Germany, and are a recent offering here in North America.

They have two kits..  difference being how much the lower the car.  The appeal here is that it's a true "matched" shock and spring set.

You can download the application guide here:

The tech on the phone explained that these could be ordered through anyone that sells ST suspension bits currently, even if they are not specifically listed on thier site.

Someone try these...  I'm real curious to find out what other options are out there besides the generic H&R/Bilstien combos everyone is running.
