« on: November 13, 2009, 07:57:57 AM »
while driving my speedometer tends to pulse up and down randomly. sometimes where i let off the gas hard, it springs into the appropriate place..then when i hit the gas again, it drops to 0..

what in the world could this be?? Thanks

I think there is a speed sensor on the diff. Maybe check that out first to see if its loose. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yup, definitely.  The wires & connector will "dissolve" at high miles...I cut an old connector off another car & spliced it in to fix my speedometer.  Mine wasn't registering at all though.  Could also be a bad solder joint on the cluster.

If its the clocks I would of thought it would effect the other clocks aswell I would go with the sensor on the diff
