Jester-by any chance you took the front clear plastic window off from it's glued plate?

Check fuses 10 and 21 and replace any blown ones you find.

How do you mean? i did remove the plastic window in order to put a brushed aluminium bezel on, but why would that stop the tach, temperature gauge and the L/100Km gauge from working?

I've done that before, just to change the bezel and I took that plastic shield off and when I put it back on---even though the fuses were all brand new, weird crap was going on-that's why I asked.

ah k. i've done it before when i installed my plasma gauges...but nothing like this has happened before. it's weird. all the gauges on the right side just don't work...
the fuses are fine...i checked all of them... so other than a wiring issue, wat else could it be?

E30 or E36? I'm guessing E36 from your profile picture.

Does your SI board work?

In an E30, yes. In an E36, I don't know, I don't have an E36 ETM.
