Verification that a 3.5 bar FPR wont run right on the M42?
« on: July 01, 2009, 03:52:48 PM »
I got sent the wrong one, but I threw it in just to test things. I cant smell any fuel or anything, but since its suppose to have a 3.0 bar FPR am I inviting trouble?

Stupid question?

cool, thanks. I was thinking it would just fire the injectors normal, but with a higher pressure they would dump more fuel.

the O2 sensor will tell the ECU to rich/lean the mixture. so if you disconnect the O2 sensor, the ECU won't be able to adapt to it and you will send fuel into your exaust...

ah, ok, I didnt know that he meant that.

I should maybe try looking into O2 sensor electrically.

What ways could I test the sensor and the harness themselves? My car is running pig rich as if it was dead or unplugged.
