Radiator air bleeder screw
« on: April 20, 2009, 03:43:47 PM »
I was bleeding the air out of my radiator and tightened the bolt next to the radiator cap to much and broke the thread off in the hole. I got the thread out but have no idea where to get the bolt. I tried lowes but didnt have any plastic bolts that fit. I am still going to try napa or advancce but does any one know where to find one.

it is a special slotted screw, the slot is to allow that air/water to pass without removing screw

if you remove the screw you could loose the o-ring, I know I have

they are cheap at pelican parts, I ordered two , one to replace and one spare, just in case
