oily spark plug.

Question. If my valve cover gasket needs to be replaced and theres oil on the spark plugs, how BAD and/or Dangerous is it to drive the car? Also where is the best place to buy a valve cover gasket, and how hard it the job?

Same as the question above.  I just went to replace all my plugs toady and the 2nd plug from the front of the car was very oily.  When I pulled the plug wire out, there was oil.  There was also some oil on the plug itself (but COULD have run down there on its way out).

I have a poorly running e21 I can drive for a while, but again, can this be done by a novice???  I have NO exprience with taking the valve cover off (just oil, brake jobs, water pump on e21, and e30 control arms under my belt).  And also, how much damage if I run the car?  Another concern is that the air in my neighborhood is pretty dusty.
