hey can someone give me some advice went to change oil and plugs today everything was fine car runs strong no excessive noise i changed thermostat last week. anyway did the oil and filter no surprises started on plugs and when i got to Cly. #2 it was sitting in a pool of oil?! any ideas? thx

check your oil plug gasket from the valve cover.

it's called the valve cover profile gasket and this has happened to me befor and it sucks as it will eventulay cause spark problems if neglected

yup. the two guys above are right. get a new valve cover gasket. they are cheap and super easy to replace.

Hey just to let you know that when you do replace them, make sure you tighten the valve cover bolts correctly. I did and had to remove and retighten a few times over a period of three weeks. I still get a little oil down in the plug well.
