Help !!!!! water pump being stubborn.
« on: March 01, 2009, 04:24:37 PM »
Help me please! Removed the thermostat housing only to find no thermostat. No big issue. I will just buy another along with removing the mounds of silicone and a broken screw. But for the life of me I cannot understand why, when I took all the bolts off the water pump and used the push off holes ( just the name i call them) the bracketry around those holes broke. I am left a water pump that refuses to come out.

Well the page was informative. However the pry bar and 2x4 that i used did the trick. The Pump out in three peices. All still together but broken. I know that i should suspect that pieces of metal are know in the cooling system. So my question is does the water hose method work or not
