Its been like this ever since I bought the car 7yrs ago.  Looks like its just hanging low in the middle.  Could it just be old?

Is your tranny exhaust support connected?

I have the same problem. But mine includes a leaking catalytic converter and a hole in the muffler. Sounds ricey indeed. But I'm thinking it's missing some sort of strap to keep it up. I will take a closer look once I put my motor mounts in. Exhaust will also be replaced with a junkyard exhaust from dead e36 318 vert...... like mine.

not sure what this looks like.  But probably not.  I was shaking the exhaust from the tailpipe and the whole system was shaking up the the downpipes.  Anyone have pics of the support?

Basically, you need parts #4-14.  I'm sure a salvage bracket would only be a few bucks.

You should also replace the pipe and muffler hangers (3 in all), #7, #12 (2).
