I am just curious, are there are differences between the E30 325 gauge clusters and the E30 318 gauge clusters?

The fuel and coolant gauges are exactly the same, right?

Are the speedo heads the same?

How about the Tachometer head, are those different?

What about the SI board or multiple circuit layouts of the entire cluster?

I believe that the VDO's and the Moto's are the same, besides the coding plugs between the 6 and 4 cars. Don't quote me, but I have a 325i cluster in my car, and only swapped the coding plug and everything works as it should. That is not to say that the boards and such are exactly the same, that I do not know.

If you are using the coding plug from your old M42 cluster then they should read correctly.
