Do not worry about the driveshaft, that is an easy fix. Find a good driveline service, they can shorten or lengthen the driveshaft in a matter of minutes. I did this on a pick up I owned. It was about $125 for shortening. In the end, I had them shorten the shaft, change a yoke, and replace all the u-joints for $210. I still had to install it, but it was simple as could be.

yeh i have heard that the driveshaft is not an issue to shorten


Im taking the car down to the drags tonight when i get back ill post some more photos and info
