Parting out complete M42 engine from a 91 - CA
« on: January 10, 2011, 09:55:53 PM »
Hey everyone I have for sale every part from a 91 M42 minus starter, flywheel and cylinder head.  Cylinder head was cracked so I ended up swapping in a new engine.  Had 154k on it when I took it out.  I will post pics tomorrow, if interested in any parts let me know.  Also willing to trade for interior parts such as seats door panels carpet and center console

I wish you were closer.  Shipping big bits like door cards cross-country will be expensive.  I'd be interested in the timing case, especially if the cam gears are good.

I have some late model sedan tan fabric panels that are in OK shape.  I know I have a few center consoles from sedans too.

I have a set of door panels and sun visors (passengers and drivers side).  Id be interested to know if you have the complete battery hold down set up.

Timc1018 - Hate to say it but you might have some better luck over at r3v...if you haven't done it already, that is.  Sadly, a lot of M42's get swapped out over there, you're sure to get one or two reasonable offers.

Have you considered the single-mass conversion?  You might want to PM JoeDelio from this thread (M50 flywheel setup).  Great price IMHO.
