I ordered the 91 octane chip, but the US spec chip wouldn't work in my '89Euro 318is. The DME part number for both markets is the same, but the PROM numbers are different regarding vehicles with or without the cat/O2 sensor.
I'd recommend you pull the DME cover off and check the part number of your PROM. The US Spec eprom # is 1.267.356.378 and MarkD's chip will work. The Euro eprom # is 1.267.356.214 and unless Mark is marketing a euro chip with that part number, you'll have to look elsewhere.
Just to bring this thread back from the dead, hehehe.
Today out of sheer curiosity i decided to open up an ECU i had picked up from the junk yard last year. Low and behold!! the PROM is labeled 1.267.356.378
I´m going to dig out that MarkD 93 octane chip and see if it works with this ECU.
