So after bein confused by this whole thread is there any consensus on a replacement injector for a stock m42? One that doesn't leak and seats correctly and flow the right amount.

I haven't noticed any lost coolant.

It seems to me that the car is stuck in the higher idle mode for having the ac on even when the ac is off. But I don't know what triggers the change or how to troubleshoot that.

I replaced the cable and the intake boot when I first got the car. Also when I first start the car it will sometimes idle about 800 which seems right. Then after driving it will stay up about 1100.

So I replaced all the vacumn hoses doing the mess under the intake mod. Also swapped the o2 sensor and cleaned the icv which looked liked it has been replaced before it was pretty clean. So that fixed the jumping idle but it still seems high idling about 1100. Also when the ac is on it lowers to about 800 but when it cycles off it is right back to 1100. What else should I check? It's not a big deal just want it to be right.

Looking for a stock radio for a non premium sound car. It needs to work at least the am and fm don't care about the tape deck so much. Let me know.

Engine + Driveline / M42 Thrust Bearing

Hey guys,
I just got a 91 318i a few weeks ago. I've been reading about all the mechanical things to watch out for. Question is can this bearing be replaced without pulling the motor or crank?
And is it worth it to do it?
I still haven't checked the endplay so this could all be for nothing.
