For Sale / FS: 91 318i 5 speed

I have too many cars so this needs to go. Picked this car up a couple months ago not running.  It has had done all within the last 3k miles rebuilt cylinder head with gaskets, New timing chain, upper and lower oil pan gaskets, oil pressure regulating valve, and new rear brakes. The car is sitting on bilstein sports and HnR race springs. The body is kinda rough (paint peel, dents and a rust hole in the battery box) the interior is very nice.  
This car is a great daily driver it has made several
300+ miles trips since I have had it or with some work would make a fun autox car.  $2000 obo

Replace the pipe. Just fixed the coolant leak on the new beater. The pipe was deteriorated at the o ring. It was only $16 from the dealer.

Engine + Driveline / How's the reliability of the M42 in terms of high miles

I Just turned 270k miles. Two weeks ago I put 2k on it in four days. I havent had any problems other than a fuel pump relay died but I keep a spare. It all depends on how well they kept up on it.

Electrical / Locking issue I cannot unlock the car.

I locked my doors at the second position that deadbolts all the locks and now it feels as if the rod is no longer connected to the cylinder. I need to get my car unlocked because it is in a parking lot. I hope someone on here as experienced this and can tell me another way to get in the car so I can fix the lock. I do not want to break the window.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that 134 doesnt cool as good thats why I am still rocking the R-12. Screw a retrofit. I was just thinking about drag from the compressor, I know that a good deal of other car systems have improved in drag through the years.

Would a compressor and bracket work from a newer 1.9? I would assume it is a bit more efficent but I have never checked. Just a thought.

The E34 buckets are different then the E30 ones, at least from what I have seen at the salvage yard. I believe the headlights themselves are the same but I am not sure.

I don't care what some of you say the man has a lot of talent. For all of you that said what he does is just a simple part of racing, I would like to see some videos of you controlling your cars sideways on two lane roads at 80+. When i see these videos then I might respect what you say more. I agree its not how you go fast around a track, but it is still a challenging task and just a different kind of motor sport.

congrats on the acceptance but it sounds like John Meade feed you a little bit of BS. I am here attending the program right now I graduate on July 6th and i haven't seen or heard about this dealership in Exton. It could be in Philly? When do you start? I wouldn't go with the housing they offer its pretty shitty. Also be prepared ahead of time for the placement, its stressful. There are something like 150-200 people that go through the program a year and right now there are only 21 open positions in the US. Be prepared to relocate. Oh and 67k a year is definitely not starting rate 15-17 is the norm starting out, but it is still better than a lot of people I graduated with from NTI are getting. You will love Audi's they do some crazy shit but we dont get to work on the RS4:mad: .
