Engine + Driveline / 0280156013
« on: May 11, 2012, 05:26:35 AM »
I have these since two years now....
http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/product-search/?p=0280156013

fitting is same as stock... no modification needed. Also the clips are same as stock...

No leak, no fitting problem.... i used my original clips and they clip on just like with the stock injectors.

Using the car for track days, also drag-race.

Have cop kit, ported head, CDA intake, high compression pistons, lightened connecting rods, lightened flywheel, m3 exhaust made by PROEX exhaust co., Still need to chip it on dyno...

Car works okay, but stock chip is best compared to any other i tried (tried about 6 different chip). This is why i will go next week to make chip-tuning on dyno...

Here is how it sound with stock chip...  also it was with stock tires on front and slick on the back... was a little shiTi to handle ... but was good for practice...

Engine + Driveline / Clicking noise from differential
« on: January 03, 2008, 09:02:34 AM »
HI!

First of all heppy new years and things for everybody!

So...
When i go over about 20 i hear a clicking noise from the rear, the noise gets faster while i getting faster.
Since i hear this noise, i didn't try to go over 50.
I looked under my car to see if the diff. has any damage, and one of the cooling cells is broken, but no oil leaks or cracks on the diff. case.....

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Engine + Driveline / idle/startup stuff
« on: June 22, 2007, 07:18:47 AM »
Hi!

Problem: at each startup ( cold/hot ) the RPM. is low and hesitate ( it's feels like it want to stop, bust it jumps back to normal affter about 30-60 sec. and then it's perfect, its okay until the next startup.)

Even if i stop the engine for only a sec. and then start it again, it does the same thing for abou 30-60sec. And is the same for cold start too.

Things i've done/change:
-idle control cleaning
-ALL vacum/fuel hoses change OEM
-oxigen sensor change BOSCH
-injectors change BOSCH
-AFM change (TO A USED ONE)
-Measured the Ohm of the spark plugs/coils (fine)
-spark plugs changed OEM
-fuel pump changed BOSCH
-fuel filter changed OEM
-carbon filter changer OEM
-prunge valve changed OEM
-DME changed ( TO A USED ONE)
-all fuses changed
-throotle body and intake mainfold cleaned
-throotle position meter chacked (fine)

I know it's a lot of things here been changed, but i had this problem even before having these things changed. After the oxigen sensor it got better but the start up is the same, after the injector and vacum and fuel lines, it got better but the start up is same, after the AFM the idle got fine but the start up is the same( so the idle is crap at start up, but affter 30-60 sec its goes fine ). after cleaning of the idle control it stayed the same.-(if i unplug the idle control while its wants to stall , nothing happens,.. and if i unplug the idle control when "she" runs fine, then the RPM goes up .....to about2000-2500

Idea:automatik Chooke is fucked................BUT i dont know where is that and how its functioning.

-its like this about 8mouths ago and its just the same as since i remember. No white/blue/black smoke from exthaust. And compression is 13-14bar at each cilinder....

Sorry for my shitty english!

Any suggestion is welcome!!!!

Thanks guys

I park the cars facing downhill 95% of the time in the driveway. I never paid close attention to the car reacting differently when pointed uphill.

Please can you just try it one time to park uphill, and listen to the start up.  i would really thank you if you do so, and then let me know if there was a more quiet start up or....
For me, if i parking up hill for over night then i have much less or none at all of the ticking..... strange

Thanks

Engine + Driveline / How much to put in........
« on: March 17, 2007, 08:17:45 AM »
BTW: how much oil do you guys put into the engine when changing the oil?
....Just because the manual say 5liter and i was never able to put in more then 4.5liter if i put 5liter, then the deepstick show that its way to much oil in it. is it possible that its because i have lowwered the suspension and this why its just doesn't show the right level on the deepsick?
so how much do you guys put. no problem if you tell me in us quart or in other volume.
5l = 5,283441us quart
thanks

I  didn't use heat. i just got a getto tool just like the one what bmwman used.
