For Sale / Crank Positioning sensor SoCal

Hey everyone I have a brand new CPS for the m42. I thought mine went out but i found the source of my no start problem to be a relay. The part store I bought it didn't accept a return on the item even though i bought it the day before. I opened the box and I checked the OHms which was about the same as the one I had on the car. So since I cannot return for a refund its up for sale.

$80 local

I know Im trying to see if the problem has stopped... when i turned the car on for the first time with the new gaskets it was acting weird like it was going to die when i hit the throttle. but now its good, morning starts isn't as bad, but i still haven't changed the plugs,
 i will probably this coming weekend.

oh its basically on both sides of the plug. is a 140 bucks for 3 pulls on a dyno worth it? not to me, i dont have anything too special, i just wanted to see what my stats are for my car.

im going to dyno it later... i think its 1.9 or 2.0 with m44 crank... i didnt rebuild it .. but the person that did is a friend of mine so he knows more than i do.. haha

hey everyone just want to start this thread on my new motor that i swapped into my car.

I took my car to a friend to see the compression on the motor. But at the beginning when i first got my motor i checked the plugs and it had oil all over it.. but I thought it was because of it being tilted and it was sitting for a while... so i changed the plugs and drove the car for over 1500 miles since i installed it.

Back to the story, when I took it to my friends shop he pulled the plugs and they were soaked in oil all four cylinders. and the compression showed 125 +1-2
across all cylinders, my friend told me its showing they are all the same but I the  plugs arent a good signn, i mite need a head, and valve cover gasket replacement.

need some help on what to do at this point....

i put the coil wire on the positive instead of grounding it....-___________________-

thats wat happens going blind with a bimmer..... lmao old skool muscle needs gas and air... bimmers need gas.....wirings, air.... more wires.... wiresss.. basically really complicated-____- but it was funnn

ive done a m10 to m42 swap. i installed everything+ adapter for the car.
no fuel- i bypassed it and it works.
no spark - but the motor turns over
my lights in my dash (oil, brake and battery is always on even if the key is out of the car. but when i disconnect the ecu the lights turn on when i have the key in the on position.
ive done the neutral safety bypass.
ive got another ecu with a dinan chip installed. its basically ready to start but it doesnt.
- ive tested the cps and cms resistance. crank has 1.212 and cam has .608
 i need help to fix this stupid problem , and i want to drive my car already.

can anyone asap trouble shoot this i really need a car asap to drive.
