yer you should be ok depends on how low you want your car, my guess is quite low so you may need to role your guards which isnt to much of a drama. just mount the wheels up and go from there, if you need it to stick out more, get a bigger spacer. you will get the look you want, you just need to play around a little.

I have 15x8 et0 with 225 tyres and they poke out quite nicely (on a e30). i would get the wheels and 185 tyres then test fit for your spacers. you maybe be looking at 30mm spacers which isnt ideal. i would try and get wheels with less offset, like 25, 15 etc. hope that helps. heres a good site that you can play around on http://www.rimtuck.com/search.php

For Sale / Modifed M42 engine
« on: February 05, 2011, 06:52:25 AM »
Hi all
selling up my m42, gearbox and driveshaft. everything is still in working order and currently still in the car. engine has 225k on it, gearbox has 140k and clutch and flywheel have 10k. flywheel is a lightwight bmp design item, clutch is a excedy heavy duty. i have changed to oil and filter every 2500ks, use castrol full synthetic oil. exhaust is a custom 2 and 1/4 stainless steal main system and custom made 4-2-1 headers. i have someone interested in the exhaust already. the rocker cover and front crank seal are leaking but i will replace them before sale. also i have custom made alloy pipe that bypasses heater core and throttle body heating, so no mess under the intake.
as i am a mechanic i can rebuilt the engine (new bearings, rings, gaskets, timing gear, etc) at new owners expense. i live in brisbane, australia. i will ship if buyer arranges and pays. i can put engine and gearbox in crates as i am getting a new motor soon.
looking for around $3000 for everything, but i will sell major items seperating at the following cost.
clutch/flywheel ($1100 new) - $600
exhaust full ($1700 new) - $1000, headers ($900 new) - $650
gearbox - $500
engine without exhaust, clutch/flywheel - $1000
ecu - $200
wiring harness - $100
if you want anything else seperate, throw me an offer.
all prices are negotiable

Yer they bolt straight in same sub frame. This motor puts out around 210rwhp, so about 260 at the flywheel.
