Engine + Driveline / Clutch upgrade

I have a 94 318is running 12psi. I was running a m3 lightweight flywheel and m3 stage 2 race clutch with my m42 tranny and it worked great. A month ago I blew up 2nd gear at the track and then a couple weeks after that broke the driveshaft in half and broke the rear diff. So I just finished swapping in a m3 zf tranny another m42 driveshaft and a 3.45 lsd, just got it back together lastnight and the car seems to be working really well.

oh ya and also no you dont have to take apart the tranny just take off the nut and use a puller on it

not 100% sure if its the same but I swapped my m42 flange to a m3 tranny for my 318 turbo and it worked out ok. had to shave the m3 nut some and had to make a spacer for it but that was it.

Well I took the boosted e36 318 out to the track lastnight for the first time and on the first run of the night I blew the tranny lost 2nd gear. So now I am wondering what I should do for a upgrade ?? Will a M3 tranny bolt up to the M42 ? will I have to change the driveshaft ?? what other options are there ?

The car is done and loaded on the trailer. We are heading out Friday at 3am for Philly, PA to drop it off at Vac Motorsports for a Dyno Tune.

UPDATE

We got the 44lb injectors installed tonight and the car fired right up with no tune. It smoked alot and the car did idle by itself but was alittle off. We took the car for a quick test drive came back and the computer seemed to compinsate for the bigger injectors and the car actually idled fairly normal with minimal smoke. So with this done the car is now ready for the dyno day on Feb 20th. I will let everyone know how that goes and will try to get some dyno videos too.

Hey just wondering if you guys put a check valve in the line coming off on intake going to EVAP can or if u relocate line to a non boosted area ??

I got the injector adapters from technique tuning in florida so then u can run standard injectors again. I got a set of Accell 44lbers

Just tapped the lower pan
no pressure coming from line for turbo
motor is full of new oil
stock motor that was working before we started build
also there hasnt been any boost put threw motor yet
