Logged complaint with Paypal (though it has been over 45 days) and Credit card company. Discussion on this has moved to r3v to mount our growing complaints. It is very unfortunate that this happened. It's too bad he ruined his reputation. To all, this serves as warning to dealing with this guy.

Here has been the exchange with him. I had to put this together to report to my credit card company as it has been more than 45 days with Paypal. We'll see if I can get my money back. I thought I was pretty cool about the whole thing, but look at those other forums, and I'm not the only one burned. I deleted his phone number out of here, but it doesn't work anyway.

hey, these grills are pretty much new. i bought a set from kowolsi that were used and sold, but these were only on for about a week, and they came from abrahams. but, for the us spec laminix and the grills, i can do $80 shipped.

It looks like some people who ordered LaminX from him on Bimmer forums got  burned as well. Hopefully he does the right thing.

for a while it was that he was out of town, and then he was out of town again, then his work messed up the shipping. I was super patient and super cool through the whole thing and kept telling him no problem, I just wanted the parts. He gave me his number, I've called a bunch of times, but his message says that his phone is lost. I've left plenty of voice mails. It sucks because I was so nice to him.

There is a circled E1 followed by 0017111 and then theres also 37481. Didn't see it on Real OEM or bav.
Also, don't think its heated.

I am in need of replacing my mirror as the blue is peeling off and giving it a crappy look. On Bav Auto they show the heated mirror or the unheated one with the heated being blue and the non being standard. If I have the blue ones already, should I infer that they are heated? or is the non-heated one blue as well and Bav just doesn't show it in the picture?

John, you know, I can't really compare. it had that set up when I got it and my previous e30's were saloons. The bilsteins are the HD's. From what I read there isn't a big difference in the M3 springs other than the spring rate. I think I'd go with the Sports with some other shocks when it comes time to change it up for something more aggressive.

Engine + Driveline / Cylinder miss at startup

At start-up on cold engine it misses for about five seconds until i gradually rap it to 2k, then it levels and purrs. Other than a slight annoyance, does anybody think this is cause for a larger concern or have any idea of a solution?

Bought my 91 318is off craigslist in Denver. I had been looking for one for about 4 months. I have previously owned two e30's and sold them when money was tight and regretted it ever since. I was ready to settle for any e30 with decent mileage that was well maintained. I found mine with 130k from a BMW enthusiast with a sick E28 in the garage. The car had some issues, rust in the trunk under the battery box, spot rust in other places. PO replaced the injectors, AFM, entire exhaust including CAT, ICV, chased down the vacuum leaks.
I chose this one after researching extensively on this site and others. One of the PO's had installed the rear fog light mod, so I knew somebody owned it who knew what they were doing to have the desire to effectively complete the mod. All in all the car had new brakes, new tires, Bilstein's, m3 springs, m3 CAB's, perfect interior, less dash crack. I've since replaced the windshield, stereo (blau wasn't playing cd's), radiator as I had a spare and the expansion tank sprung a leak somewhere. I also recharged the AC and did an alignment.
Car is running like a champ, misses on one cylinder at start up for about 5 seconds, and has erratic idle with A/C on, but I've averaged 34 mpg.
Exterior does have some waves and some hail damage, but has been repainted. Wasn't the best paint job/body work but it's still a head turner. Paid $3700 for it.

It is DS, which is what I love about the color. In these photos you don't get the metallic.
