In my opinion it would be worth working the ignition map up from scratch without referring to the factory map as you're going to significantly change the cylinder charge by putting ITBs on the engine. I'm guessing you're working it out already but I'd just trust your tuning, or maybe install a knock sensor for good measure.

Thanks everyone, this is really helpful. It's not been very well cared for so I'm trying to do as much as I can to make it better.

@bmwman91 - Thanks for the offer but I live in the UK so the shipping would be more expensive than getting a slave cylinder here.

Engine + Driveline / Clutch change - What parts do I need?

Hi.

I'm going to change the clutch on my E30 318is and wanted to know what people would recommend changing at the same time, both relate to the clutch / flywheel and any other parts that would be convenient to change.

So far I've been told to change:

Clutch
Prop center bearing

What else would you advise?

I've got the general 3-series haynes manual (although it doesn't cover the 318is specifically) but it doesn't give a list of parts or suggestions.
