Engine + Driveline / Profile gasket replacement, what else?

Mechanic says it's leaking. He says I don't have to replace it asap but I'm anal. He said it's a good time to refinish the head then? Can't quite remember what he said. So I'm looking for details etc...

What else would you guys do if you had to replace the profile gasket? A lot of crap has to be taken apart to get to it so I thought I'd ask your opinions.

they are the H&R sport springs lower the car about 1.25 front and rear
i like mine... but soon should be going to IE stage 3's

If you're gonna get rear shock mounts, get better ones than those. IE or GC for example.

There can't be anything wrong with rebuilt Girlings by Nugeon, probably a better job than a shop rebuilding my existing ones right? Plus the Nugeons are $50 w/o pads!

Suspension / Strut mounts vs. ball joints. How to tell?

How can you tell which one is worn? When I hit bumps, the front rattles. Feels like it's down low where the control arm is. The car has been on H&R race/Bilstein sports for a year and 2 months ago I replaced the CABs with M3 ones.

I want your 24-70L, sorry that comment wasn't related to what you were asking . I'd get the 550ex over the 430ex because of more control .

I'd get the lower springs .
