Welcome!? :)

Wish I had the time and ambition to pull and rebuild motors.

Quit your bitching and get back to work?!
And stop hitting like a girl on the ice. If you didn't bleed or lose a tooth, you're doing it wrong!! :)

I got on to RockAuto.com and did a search on my 1991 E30 M42 and compared to what came up in a 1994 E36 318i and the sensors were not the same.

RealOEM..com says they are not the same as well:

I am not associated with this person and I find it odd I have never seen it on the roads?
My lovely wife sent me a pic of it over her phone and said it looked nice as she drove by it.
I have to say it has very little rust on it. The sides are solid. It appears the battery tray in back has been repaired but the bottom of the tray is solid. Paint is all fubar'd as the clear is coming off in layers. Interior is missing the carpet and a number of other small bits. Front seats are worn pretty badly.
They are asking $3k, has ~180k miles.

I really like that center armrest! :)

I'd say $2k w/stereo is all I would spend on it...
The hood pins concern me.
Sure would have been easier to fix/replace the oem bracket. If he did this to the hood, who knows what else has been altered.

I picked up a set for the '76 MGB 175/70-R14 for $156 mounted and balanced.
I then picked up another tire the next day for the spare as it was looking a bit 'tired'!? lol the pun?!

Torque specs are 7.1 FtLbs/89 InLbs on the housing.
My '91 318is. Completely stock. Stock tire size. Sitting on very level surface.
Just a tad over 6" (guessing 6 1/16th) to the lower round part of where the oil pan bolt goes in to pan.

I can't imagine lowering this car with that thing sitting so low and vulnerable. eek..
