The S42 Race Engine !!!!

after nearly 1 month of waiting i found the time this morning to take some pictures of the engine and the car....


take a seat and fasten your seatbelts the pictures of the car will blow your head off ;-)

for the next two weeks the car will be in another garage for some engine checks, valves, timing etc.! i will ask if i can go there and take some pics when the engine is open... and when the car is lift up i can also take some pics from the suspension

the door handles are now available for only 99$, a special and sick bmw-motorsport part...!! send me an email... ;-)

Years ago my brother and I had Triumph TR3. It was the only car I ever saw that could break down sitting still. It had a cable that you pushed down to open the door. You can see it in the pocket of the door trim.

Hey Swiss, you are the man! Thanks for the pictures. Amazing stuff. The foot box photos gave me some good ideas for mine. Do you remember if they were using bolts or rivots to mount the foot box?

I'm itching to see details of the suspension pieces, especially the rear.

So what's the story Swiss? How'd you get access to the car? Do you work for a BMW race team? I saw your reflecton in one of the pics...BMW-Sauber???
