A co-worker recommended this book to me yesterday. Him & I frequently debate anthropology, sociology and philosophical stuff in the office. Well, he recommended this book. I went online and read a 20-page excerpt from it and was hooked.
It is definitely a trip to look at humanity's existence from such a different view, and there is quite a bit of truth in the first few chapters about human perception of humans. Being that I am only a few chapters in rigth now, I guess I will be finding out more when I get free from work tonight!
So, anyone here read/reading it? What are your thoughts on the view of the story humans are enacting, and the story 'mother culture' has been feeding us all along?
