im getting a steady check engine light going on , and when i run a fault code check , i get code 1234 , this is speedometer A signal ,

what does this mean ,and how can i remedy it?

If it is of any help... Bentley E36 manual says Speedometer "A" signal (DME 3.3.1 only): Check wiring between Instrument cluster and DME module.

Pin 73 of the DME is Vehicle speed signal and this goes to pin 10 of C2 on the instrument cluster.

the speedometer works, but the econometer doesnt.... it either is all the way to the 40+ MPG when im off the gas , or all the way to 0 MPG when im on the gas

well that too lol, no matter what throttle imput i give, its always 40+ mpg when im pressing the gas.... so i guess im haulin no matter what:D
