I am trying to get a Slammed look and have been told to get FK 60/40's but I am unable to find them stateside anymore. and I contacted some tuner shops that carry KW's for a KW 55/55 and they said KW doesn't make suspension kits that fit my application.
anybody know of any retailers that sell these kits or a suspension setup that will give that Slammed look.

the spax kit is a very slammed look. Also you could get GC's and slam them.

Use 6" - 2.5" I.D. - 225# springs on the front and 6" - 2.5" I.D. 300# springs on the rear - both without coilover adjusters. Shim them if it's too low. Drive very carefully and buy a lower oil pan now because it won't last long on a slammed E30.

If you like the slammed look, the H&R Cup Kit is a good choice. I like the looks of them, but they aren't much stiffer than stock, so it's more of a "style" kit.
I'll be posting pics of my Vogtland sport kit soon.

If you want to SLAM your ride, get a skid plate. Our cars seem to have the lowest of all oil pans on e30s. Even though we have a 2 piece deal, you will sometimes crack both upper and lower oil pans.
As to the H&R cup kit, I know someone who had it and fuxxored his upper and lower oilpans. He didn't do it on purpose - you can only drive carefully to a certain degree and swerving a man hole cover or huge pothole is always easier said than done

How low is the H&R Cup Kit?
anyone have any pics.
And where can a skid plate be purchased besides the dealer?

if HR cup kit will make you hit, people with IE#s probably have the same amount of worry. Does anyone have a BMW part # for a skidplate? i have seen them for the m20 e30s...

Don't forget it's the spring rate that's the variable here...the H&R cup kit is not oriented for off-street performance unlike the Stage IIIs. Two cars can both look slammed but one will bottom out earlier depending on the combo of spring rates and/or shock valving as well.
Correct on 666 fab for the skid plates.
