Hello, I do not currently own an e30 m42 but will be in the market for one. I
I was looking at a 1970-1973 Ford Capri or a Datsun 510 wagon or a 2002. Along the way saw some info on the m42 swap into the 2002. From there I discovered ya'll and now I am thoroughly hooked. Thanks for the great sight and the great attitude.

HAHAHAHA.....I used to own a 71 510 wagon...If I remember correctly it was green with I think a black vinyl roof..Couldn't get out of it's own way...Damn...That was over 30 years ago...lol

Anyway, good luck in your search..These cars are becoming hard to find. But once you have one, you will love it...

The idea was to get a 510 wagon and drop in a KA24D from a 240sx to get the speed and comfort of a modern engine.

Thanks for Joining, If you drive the m42 you'll love it. Where do you live? if you don't mind me asking. I've noticed that there aren't as many for sale now as there was a year or so back. (Partly due to rising fuel prices). Good Luck on your search! -Preston
