I saw Downing Atlanta's ad in the latest Roundel mag. so I called Jim up and asked him if this was indeed an M42 motor and not an M40. He said it is the
M42 motor and in a couple of months it should be ready for the public. There were issues with the belts since our engine does not have a serpetine belt, but he mentioned we would only have to source out the needed parts. There will be a list of parts coming out as well in a couple of months. He mentioned everything turned out great with the GRM E30.
So boys, looks like we may get a S/C for our motors in the near future after all!

I'd be lying if I said I didn't get my 318i because of this article. I'd been wanting an E30 for a couple years, read the article, said 'ok, I need a 318i/is' and a week later one fell into my hands for free.
