it takes off slow and gets fast...kinda like a stock turbo car starts off slow then get fast.... what could it be!?!?!

It could be the 1.8 liter engine you have under the hood. Except the fast part is at the end is only in your head.

M20 Flywheel will help some of slowness but you will still have the SLOW in the beginning.

big flywheel has to get spinning first. 1st gear is useless till above 4k rpm then the car can stay in its sweet spot through the gears.
