Carpet colors - what were all of the factory color options?

My 318ic has a tan interior w/ tan carpet from the factory. I was wondering what the options were for the E30's as far as factory carpet colors?

I've heard there was not a true "black" factory carpet, but more of a dark charcoal color (which most call black). I was also trying to imagine what my interior would look like if I replaced the original tan carpet w/ the dark charcoal carpet? Is there such a color combo out there?

I am not sure on all the interior colors but your local dealer could tell you. Get ready to spend some Mooolaa. Just picked up a tan carpet set from the dealer for $510 and that was at wholesaler price. Personally I think the black (charcoal) would look good with tan leather but I stuck with the tan on tan.
