WTB In Minnesota (or anywhere): 318is Gauge Cluster

I am looking for a low mileage gauge cluster. The cluster should have less than 120k miles on it. I prefer the VDO brand.

I am willing to buy one from anywhere, but Minnesota would be a plus. Just name your price and I will get back to you.

I thought all e30 gauge clusters except the M3 were motometer.

Try U-Pull-R-Parts in Bethel. They have a 91 325i. The cluster should be the same, you just have to swap the little chip in the back from the old to new cluster.

You can check em out online at www.upullrparts.com. Great, cheap source of parts. BMW selection is usually pretty thin, but they get some good stuff every once in awhile.

Mine was is a VDO unit. The gears for the speedometer seemed much more robust.

However, the back board electrical connections for the speedometer have failed.
