One idea is to replace your rear seat with the armrest version; when the armrest folds down it will expose your ski-hole so sound will travel into the cabin much better.

I have a free-air sub attached to a baffle that points into the ski-hole for a while; pity I don't have a rear set with an arm-rest tho :(.... yet!

I have a free air 12" sub pointed through the ski hole and it took a while, but I found a black vinyl rear seat with arm rest.

The arm rest seat is made differently than the regular rear seat. The regular rear seat is a solid block of foam. The arm rest rear seat has less foam and appears to have many strands of fibers glued together.

With the arm rest down, I have a vibration in the arm rest mechanism that I haven't bothered to track down. The bass is sufficient with the arm rest up.

that 12" sub must really get those audiobooks THUMPING!

:D

Who wants the narrator of their audiobook to have a tinny voice?!?!?!!

(I've actually listened to some music lately because I've felt guilty for wasting all the money on the audio system/rear seat if I only listen to audiobooks :))

i dont have a ski pass or an armrest seat... is there anyway I can port the rear deck and make it look halfway decent? like run the tubes out by the rear speakers? or do one port and then split it?
