Introduction: das Viereck my new (to me) E30 318is

Well, after a short (but intense) search, I found myself a very nice '91 E30 318is. :D

I love it. :p

It needs a little TLC in a few bushings, bulbs, fluid changes, and such, but boy, she loves to rev, rev, rev! A very nice juxtaposition / contrast to my E36/8 M coupe.

One of these days, "das Viereck" (the Rectangle, in german), will make it to an HPDE! And, my wife might even be driving her, too. :rolleyes:

Wow looks like a really clean start! You'll love driving it! How does you E36/8 compare (Not in the speed department). Which one do you like better? I've always had a love for the coupe. Post some pic's of it too.

The two cars are very different beasts in almost every dynamic and personality respect. Physically, all they have in common is similarities in the rear stock suspension and some roundels. ;-) My M coupe's suspension is heavily modified.

The M coupe will always be my baby; I've had it since new (12/10/99) and will never sell it.
