If I shut the car off after its warmed up and then wait a few minutes then start it up it does this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExqLcHyosB4

In the video i'm trying to hold RPMs and you can see it falling until I have to rev it up again. This goes on for about 30 seconds then it runs fine. When its about 10 seconds in I get a check engine light. With my code reader I get the Lambda (emissions) Control code.

Nevermind the temp gauge, It sticks sometimes.

Parts replaced so far, O2 sensor, coil on plug, and vacuum lines.

Ideas?

Yea, I do have a CIA but it came with the car. I never got the factory box.

I had the exact same problem and it vanished after i cleaned out my Idle Control Valve with throttle body cleaner. Take a look at this writeup:

http://www.esatclear.ie/~bpurcell/318isfaults.html#idlecontrolvalve

I was able to take it off and put it back on without taking the intake manifold off but however you chose to remove it and put it back in is up to you :o.

Try cleaning it before replacing it as he suggests as it is an expensive part (~170 from the dealer).
