Anybody have a photo? I realize it's winter (in SOME parts of the country) but Mike Miller of Roundel fame, suggested putting Yokohama EVS100 tires in size 205/60/14 on the stock basketweaves. I'm wondering if they stick out too far. If anyone could post a picture, that would surely help me.

Thanks

I don't have a pic but I used two sets of those - same size on the same wheels. No problems. They are only slightly wider than the wheels themselves. They clear the strut by a quarter inch and don't rub at full lock. All I can say is after the first set wore out I bought another one! I'm in Texas and it is rarely cold and never snows; well every ten or twelve years.

Thank you Mr. Clay. I think I'll order a set for summer use then.

I'd like to say that I was a huge Jim Clark fan as well. God rest his soul. When my dad took me to my first Indy 500 in 1965 (I was two weeks shy of my 8th birthday) Jim Clark won the race and Lotus was cementing its' fame in rear-engine technology.

I recently read a comment from a Lotus Elan owner's group member (tongue in cheek) that Lotus is an acronym for Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious.

That ranks right up there with FIAT (Fix It Again, Tony.)

Yep. I have ES100s in 205/60R14 and they look great! Very burly looking, with a square edge profile (no balloon clown tire effect). Unfortunately they're not on a car right now; they're sitting in my basement.
