i posted this over on bfc, however i wanted to see if anyone here could help
i have a 1991 318is that had a Mtech1 steering wheel. i removed this wheel and re-installed the factory airbag wheel. im having difficulty making the horn work. im wondering if i installed it correctly. i searched a few threads and found a bunch of people going from airbag to non-airbag but that is opposite of what i want to do.
from my searching i found someone mentioning a spacer and a plastic pin. i remember seeing a spacer on there but not sure about the pin.
if it helps any, the turn signal stalks return after steering to there normal position. trying to get my car to pass NYC inspection
