I think the strut spring diameter is different on the e36. I wouldn't try it ;). Any idea how these compare in stiffness to APEX engineering springs?

This part # is specific to 318iS, I have these springs myself. While they will probably fit on all e30 autos, their spring rate is for the lighter 4 cyl.
