Well, to replace the flimsy and ill-fitting (but functional) ford probe console I had, I picked up a tractop on bf.c. $35 for this beauty ;)

Good deal, there was one in my car when I bought it. I sold it for $100 or so but it was cracked and it was missing one of the metal hangers. I've seen them go around $200...

How did the probe one fit?
I'd be interested in buying that :)

just looked that the pics again and realized how yellow it looks. It is black in real life :).
The probe one was definitely a DIY fit. I had an angle cut piece of wood running down through the hole where the rear ashtray would be to brake it against the tranny tunnel. Two screws went in on either side of the console and through the wood to connect it to the car. In the end it was very solid, but the base of the console is rounded so that didn't fit at all. Also, there was a big whole under the front of it that I covered with sheet metal. Not too noticeable, but not pretty either. I'll look around and see if I have any more pics, because "clean install for the discriminating enthusiast" is not exactly what I'd call it.

Quite a deal on the armrest - there is one for sale on R3V for over $200...
I was looking at them when they were still available from BavAuto, but even then they were over $100 and I couldn't rationalize that.
I'll give you $50 for yours. :D

Haha, as much as I'd love to sell it for profit (based on other people's prives, I'd go around $100 or maybe a little more) it fits the car really well and is very comfortable for a daily driver like mine. Plus, there is enough room for both the passenger and the driver, and it surprisingly enough doesn't get in the way during fast driving. I might sell it in a year or so, but we'll see ;)
