:)
1991 IS (I am 35 years older than this car)
completely stock
181,000 miles
Runs perfectly
I plan on keeping this car completely stock except for audio and maybe a chip.
My brother had a 85 325 and I thought that was the greatest car .
I have been looking and watching for a chance to buy an E30 .
When I saw this one a few months ago I scooped it up as fast as I could .
probably went a little high ($3500) but it is in great shape and runs mint .
So far I've taught my two sons (ages 18 and 19) to drive standard which is one reason I bought the car. It is not a daily driver although I have a hard time keeping my boys out of it .
I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looks clean, but I must ask why do you want to keep it kinda stock?

Welcome to the forums. Your car looks damn near mint as far as I can tell. Im always happy to see older people still driving e30's.

Welcome to the site! Another brilliantrot :). I like the pinstripe on the car, you even have the m3 knee bolster, nice.

I've always enjoyed working on cars (I have a degree in diesel engines) and I've think that the car is plenty quick and fast stock so I don't see the need for performance upgrades. If I was to track it then I would do upgrades .
I think it's just a great job of engineering from the beginning except for maybe the profile gasket which wasn't very good engineering. The car is solid as a rock ,great on gas and a pleasure to drive .
I know there's other older people out there like me that enjoy these cars . I glad just for the joy that the car brings to my two sons when they drive it.
They really like it !!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks

Huh, cool. I just went to a Biofuels 101 class this weekend. Some guy had converted his old Benz with a twin tank setup and runs used vegetable oil in it. My next car is going to be a diesel!!! I want something that gets 40 mpg and I can run biodiesel in.

Car looks great, and really clean (as in, rust free!).. I know that is rare up in Maine. Keep her garaged and out of the salt, and she'll last forever with proper care. Nice car!!! :D
