so i found out today that i can get sound deadening (recycled material, the same stuff the new bimmers have) for cheap.
spec's:
40 by 35 inches, 1/2 inch thick. weighs 1lb for the whole sheet.
i might possibly do a group buy.
$20 plus shipping from 95603 (usa only).

how well does this stuff stand up to heat? I need to insulate the pocket near my exhaust because it is a bit loud going down the highway.

Let me know how it works. I was thinking if filling the rear quarter panels behind the rear seat's armrest panels with something like fiberglass (but not actually fiberglass). The poly mounts are finally getting annoying after 4 years.

it only weighs 1 lbs, so 5-6 sheats would cover the whole car. 5-6 pounds is a gallon of fuel.....
i ordered a few sheets for myself today, i will take pics when it comes in.

whats the price? the stuff i am selling is OEM from Nissan and looks, performs, and feels like the OEM stuff from BMW (the green recycled stuff). its comming in tommorow and if we can get a bunch of people interested i might be interested in a discounted group buy.
