I've fitted a BBTB and am now looking to upgrade the ECU chip. (Incidentally it sounds like the BBTB might be a lttle pointless, performance wise, but as tim_s has said I now have a nice reconditioned freely operating TB, which gives peace of mind at least!)

Is anyone here running a UK car with BBTB and performance chip? If so, what type of chip do you have and how do you rate it?

I heard on e30zone that US chips will not work in UK cars, which is a shame as I've heard good things about some of those available over there.

you can talk / email with Mark Dsylva who makes great chips and will know the vagaries of making chips for the UK...

I have an extra M42 ECU with factory Motorsport chip installed. I might consider selling it. Will also work with UK models.

ChippedUK did a custom job for a "is" that was featured in Total BMW Mag August edition.

I don't know where they are but you could try them?

Good article, little short on info but nice looking car.

Let me know how you go, I'm looking at doing this later in the year.

Good luck
