So, the day-before-yesterday, I had just finished bedding my brake pads and was heading home. I came upon a left bend and I hit a dirty/muddy strip of road and all hell broke loose. My rearend came around and I held the accelerator, since I didn't want to let go and have the weight transfer to the front=spin out very fast. But, regardless, I lost traction on all 4 wheels and I spunout. I then proceeded to slip into an embankment facing the opposite direction and rolled over onto the passsenger side. My passenger side door was completely F'd, as well as my passenger side fender. I escaped with minor scrapes and am totally fine. I replaced the passenger door last night, but left the fender as is. I need a fender soon because everytime the door is opened, it grinds away at the fender and makes a fabulous moaning sound. I wasn't able to take pics while the car was on its side because my camera was in the car. But I got some shots of the car in the ditch after it was on all 4 wheels. BTW, after pulling the car out of the ditch I drove it home. So, no mechanical damage!! I took a peek at the suspension it it looks fine. So yeah ruff times, but I am alive. I'll post pics later.

I hit an icy spot on a curve on a mountain top and kinda rolled over and down- into some trees (in a SAAB 900S). The shop I let fix it was where the guy said "Hey I guess a tree fell on ya!" He had it sorta backwards but I liked tthe sound of it better his way...

That sucks, you had a nice car to! Hey check the straightness of your front control arm, when i crashed my M10 318i (similar to how you crashed) mine bent slightly but you couldnt tell by eye and it f'd up the tire.

^^^Yeah, I'll take a closer look when I get a chance. The damage was very minimal. All I need now is a fender and It'll be complete once again. My car didn't roll over onto its roof, just on the side. So, thanks to the deep mud and to all the branches I plowed into, the car was held in a way that I just crushed my door (got hooked up with a brillinantrot one already) and front fender.

I actually work on my car at my mom's house in Santa Cruz, since I don't have a place to work on it in the city. So, I wrecked over in Santa Cruz.

Ha, I just realized that I had originally written "*****ding" my break pads, instead of bedding. Ha! I've slept 7 hours in the last 2 days.<----I'm delirious and exhausted.

^^^Well, as I have stated already, the car is still in the shape it was before the wreck. With the exception of the passenger side fender which is very f'd up. I'm actually getting one today. So, sorry no parts for you:) . Yeah, I'll post pics as soon as I find my f'n camera:mad: .

So the pics. I could not take any pictures of the car whiole it was on its side because my camera was inside the car. This pic was taken right after I got it back on all 4 tires:

Damage;

In this one you can see that my sunroof panel is torn. This is because the branch that went through the passenger side window tore through it. Yeah, I know it was inches away from my head!

That's it! I got really lucky that the embankment was very soft mud/soil becasue that help to minimize the damage. My mirror didn't even break, it just bent back towards the window. There is also more damage to the front of the fender that isn't picture here.
