24 Hours of Lemons (yes lemons)

This was an extremely entertaining event to watch and cover over the last two days. I there was working with autoblog.com doing a LIVEBLOG of the entire event minute by minute. The cars had to be worth less than $500, so there was everything from Pinto's (yes more than one) to a Jeep Cherokee. The was divided into two session adding up to about 15 hours.I plan on competing later on in the year with a team using a gen 2 RX-7.

lol looks like a great way for the white E30 to get a bumper tuck, and I can't believe that the red E30 has kopis on it...

Looks like fun, at least there is a hearse there to take you away if you wreck too badly ;)

Thanks for the pics. Seems like a cool event. Do they also have a car show portion of the competition? Some of these cars are outrageous and would do good for originality. :cool:

Yep, Autoblog contact me to help cover the event. The guy that did the live blog knows of my work and referred me. I took a hole bunch of the pictures in the live blog link as well.

Glad to share! There was no car show but walking around the parking lot was like one, there was a real Evo 6 Tommi Makinen Edition to a Lamborghini Murcielago..
