Quick Question: Where's the Low Pressure Port on AC system?

Is it the one that goes across the strut tower or the smaller one that goes along the fender?

Trying to do an AC conversion in my 98 degree garage now. :rolleyes:

Thanks. That's what I thought. The reason why I wanted to make sure is that my R134 isn't discharging into the ac system. I hooked up the 12oz can of R134 to the low pressure side and let it run for 5-10 minutes with the car running the AC on high. Any ideas?

I tried another can of r134 with a different discharge valve just to make sure I didn't have a faulty valve.

Ok, I think Dupont had the incorrect directions on their can. It specifically says to only use it in the upright position. After deciding to try against their methods and turn it upside down, the refrigerent has all discharged into the system.

Not that cold as stated by other people but better than nothing.

In my experience, r12 is a better refrigerant, contrary to what eveyone else has found.

I work with a certified ac tech. He swears the same thing. He had some extra r12 so he hooked up his manifold set to my car. for some reason I have about 120lbs on both the high and low side. The AC works kinda, he thinks my compressor took a dump.
