Engine swap

Hi there

I'm knew to this forum so i would like to say hi to everyone , i will update my profile within the next few days , after i buy the car , i have a 325is e36 , but now i'm thinking of building a track car i'm interested in buying a 1983 318, i would like to do engine swap with the 318is 1991 is that possible , do i have to worry about programming or anything else can you please advise.

It would be helpful to have a complete donor car. You want the engine,harness, and all accessories. The early 318's have weak brakes but you can swap them for the brakes out of a 318is or a 325.

Should be an easy swap.
