I used to buy two-buck-chuck when I lived in sacramento... but for some reason it's three-buck-chuck here in Portland. Taxes? Either way, what a value.

I am glad to see this thread lives on. C.S. wine really is pretty decent, even compared to some $15 bottles I have bought. In fact, there are some god-awful pricey wines out there. Just avoid the C.S. Chardonnay, it tastes like peanut shells.

funny I bought some the other day, and compared it to "Bears Lair" which comes from the same guy... the Bears Lair was better tasting. I prefer the cab... but I'm a cab kinda guy. :D

Bears Lair can be had at Trader Joe's. It's definitely the better white wine of the two.
