Hello to all, my name's wuilman. I own a '91 318i, and was recommended to this site by someone I met at Pick-n-pull in San jose on saturday (sorry did't catch your name).
well my poor car's been through a lot. here are some pictures to show some of the progress I've made, and the problems I've had
it's a lot of pictures so grab a snack! (sorry 56k users)

When i first bought the car.bone stock, with some ugly ARE wheels that were bent to hell and a busted ass antenna

then some douchebag in a VW hit my driver side fender and door, wich gave me an excuse to buy some nice Basketweaves!

I had already cracked one oil pan so i also bought a skidplate from 666fabrication

I installed an IS rear spoiler, smoked my kidneys, shadowlined my trim, painted my badge black, polished the exhaust tip, installed smoked side markers, smoked turn signal lenses,euro grills, smoked euro smileys, an IS front lip, and a RyanG splitter....... whew!

It came out to like $230 for all the stuff I got, and I still need to buy a valance panel and paint.

SHWEET MANG!!
I just need a reason to yank out that damned 305 and drop in a 383!
I already got a built TH700R4 in it and swapped out the open diff for a Posi, I also need to swap out those crappy brakes for some camaro 1LE 12" brakes:D
but the monte is coming along nicely just need to finish up my E30 so i can drive it without feeling embarrased about the collision damage!

Definately, another white E30 is always welcome at the local meets. LOL, at the last meet there was 5 of us in Alpines. I was the only 318 though :D:D

Yes I painted it with SEM trim paint. I didn't like the look of having it the same as the body color, because the rocker panels and the rear lower valance are black.

haven't posted in a while thought i'd give an update on what my car looks like.......:( yeah it just keeps getting worse! i've actually been driving it like this for about 2 months now.........I give up on owning a nice looking car!:mad: what baffles the crap out of me is how they managed to rip the fender off without destroying the rest of my front end.......especially on the curb side????

Holy hell! So some ass managed to hit your car and do this? Maybe crackheads thought you were hiding some goods in the fender.

I wanted a 4 door so bad when I was looking for a 2nd M42 car. The only one I found was in bad shape, and then I stumbled across a $2000 deal on a 318iS that I could not pass up. You have a clean ride, despite the crashes and/or drug addicts. I want one!

Anyway, we should get a Bay Area meet going. My girlfriend lives in Point Richmond so I am up there somewhat frequently anyway. jpod, where is this thing on the 29th going down? What all shows up for it? Let's get some M42 folks in there to let more people know about how our motor was created by the hand of god himself, how he came down and handed BMW a virgin ingot of flawless iron from which the M42 was created.

Good luck on future repairs. I am always down for a junk yard trip if anyone i planning one. I also have some parts sitting in my back yard still if you need some. Lemme know if you need anything, it can go cheap.

I sat in front of my own car for 45 minutes looking for skid marks and/or bits and pieces of the other car.......but low and behold no such luck????

I have all the parts (head gasket kit, "new" head, new head bolts) to finish the job but no time or energy left. I may be out of an E30 now, but that doesn't mean I'm out forever:)
